Loretta M. Glatfelter

Loretta M. Glatfelter Red Lion Loretta M. (Greenplate) Glatfelter, 75, of Red Lion, died Thursday January 7, 2016 at her home. She was the loving wife of Donald E. Glatfelter. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Zion Shaffer’s United Lutheran Church, 4535 Shaffer Road, Seven Valleys, with Rev. Sara A. Gausmann, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the Church. Mrs. Glatfelter was born in Codorus Township, on August 16, 1940, a daughter of the late John S. and Marie P. (Miller) Greenplate. She graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1958 and retired from AMP, Inc. after 24 years as a packager and inspector. Following her retirement she co-owned the Family Affair Catering, Glen Rock with Darlene Godfrey for over 20 years. She was an active member of Zion Shaffer’s United Lutheran Church, Seven Valleys, a Past Worthy Matron and member of the Triangle Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #483, Shrewsbury, and was a volunteer with the Brethren Disaster Relief Auction. Besides her husband, she also leaves a daughter, Donetta M. D’Innocenzo and her husband Jim of Lemoyne; two sons, Bart E. Glatfelter and his wife Janie of Glen Rock, and Tony R. Glatfelter and his wife Donna of Glen Rock; nine grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas and Noah Glatfelter, Zachary and Jared Smith, Megan and Alexandra D’Innocenzo, and Tyler and Cody Glatfelter; five great grandchildren; and a sister Janet E.
