Lois Rae Duerr

Lois Rae Duerr York Lois Rae (Kisiner) Duerr, 89, of Manor Care South, who was formerly of the Hametown area of Shrewsbury Township, entered into rest Friday, September 18, 2015 at the home. She was the wife of the late Floyd R. "Barney" Duerr. Following cremation a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 161 S. Main Street, Shrewsbury, with her pastor, the Rev. Martha H. Boyer, officiating. Burial will be in Giesey Memorial Cemetery, Shrewsbury. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Duerr was born June 28, 1926 in York, a daughter of the late Ray and Eloise (Taylor) Kisiner. She was a 1944 graduate of Glen Rock High School and retired from AMP Inc. where she was employed as a machine operator for over 25 years. Lois was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shrewsbury Fire Company. She is survived by two sons, Richard Lee Duerr and wife Judy of Leesburg, FL, and Ronald Ray Duerr of York; three grandchildren; Sheri Davis, Melissa King and Eliza Bernardini, six great-grandchildren; and a brother, David Kisiner of Glen Rock.
