Linda Mae Frantz

Linda (Ferree) Frantz, 70, of Seven Valleys, passed away at York Hospital March 22, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Thomas L. Frantz. The couple would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. Linda Frantz was born in Springfield Township on May 25, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Grace E. (McConnell) Ferree. Linda worked at Amp/Tyco and retired after 45+ years of service. She was a Loganville Fire Department member and a longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jacobus, where she was a Sunday School teacher. Linda enjoyed her family, friends, and neighbors; gardening, baking, cooking, volunteering, listening to country music, and was a NASCAR enthusiast. She loved horses, showing, trail riding, and barrel racing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Claire. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Timothy L. Frantz and Melissa S. Prizer of Seven Valleys. She is also survived by her siblings, Marvin Ferree, Dannis Ferree, David Ferree, Stanley Ferree, Donald Ferree, and Curtis Ferree, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gaylord and Victor Ferree, and one sister, Esther E. Raffensberger.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 29 from 9:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Road, Jacobus, PA 17407. Pastors Tina Minnich and Tom Beck will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to Salem Lutheran Church at the address above or to the Loganville Fire Company, PO Box 141, Loganville, PA 17342.
