Linda Lawrence, of The Villages, FL, passed away on March 18, 2025.

Linda was born in Providence, RI, to Raymond Dyer and Lucile (Moody) Dyer on June 13, 1945. She attended school in Cranston, RI, and later graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in textiles and home economics. Linda married Gordon Lawrence on April 16, 1966, in Cranston, RI.

Throughout her life, in addition to raising her two children, Linda was a nursery school teacher, an accomplished seamstress, and a soft sculpture artist. She also had a passion for travel and particularly enjoyed combining travel and biking trips that took her around the world. She biked through the Canadian provinces, the rainforests of New Zealand, the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the wine country of France, and the western coast of Ireland.

Linda is survived by her husband Gordon Lawrence, children Karin Barrett and Kerri Blydenburgh (Brian), brothers Tom Dyer and John Dyer, and grandchildren Kacie Barrett, Keira Barrett, and Brody Blydenburgh.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 10 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA. A brief graveside service will follow in Glen Rock Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The New Covenant United Methodist Church Bargains & Blessings Outreach Program.
