Linda L. Heffner

Linda L. Heffner Stewartstown Linda L. (Adams) Heffner, 77, of Stewartstown, died Monday, October 6,2014 at Barbara J. Egan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Norman F. Heffner, Sr. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October12, 2014 at the Stewartstown United Methodist Church, 26 South Main Street, Stewartstown, PA 17363, with Rev. Barry Robison officiating. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. A Visitation will be held after the service at the church. Mrs. Heffner was born on October 24, 1936, in York and was the daughter of the late Charles A. “Sam” Adams, Sr. and Bernice I. (Klinedinst) Adams. Linda had worked as a clerk at Anderson’s Store, Stewartstown, The Hungerford Canning Factory; she was the Assistant Director of the Stewartstown Senior Center, and most recently as a People Greeter for Wal-Mart, Shrewsbury. She was a member of the Stewartstown United Methodist Church, Stewartstown Fire Hall’s Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed puzzles and crocheting. Mrs. Heffner is survived by a son, Norman F. “Fred” Heffner, Jr. of Stewartstown and a Brother James Adams of York. She is preceded in death by a sister Mary Jane Smith, and two brothers, Charles A. “Sonny” Adams, Jr. and Lewis B. Adams.
