Leroy L. Burkhardt Stewartstown Leroy L. Burkhardt, 66, of Stewartstown, died Saturday May 16, 2015 at the York Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Geiple Funeral Home, Inc, 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. Burial will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, Glen Rock. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Burkhardt was born in Baltimore County Maryland on July 9, 1948, a son of the late Jerome M. and Lillie (Ness) Burkhardt. He attended the day program at Penn-Mar’s Maryland Line Facility, having retired in November of 2012. Leroy enjoyed van rides, Happy Meals, quiet places, and sharing his great sense of humor with others. Leroy will be sadly missed by his Penn-Mar housemates and staff members. He was predeceased by his half-brothers, Frederick, William, Charles, and Louis Burkhardt. Memorial contributions may be made to Penn-Mar, 10709 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock, PA 17327.
