Laura J. Wolfgang Dallastown Laura J. (Pinette) Wolfgang, 53, of Dallastown, died Friday January 8, 2016 at her home. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday January 16, 2016 at St. Jacob’s (Stone) United Church of Christ, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville with Rev. Melissa Eicholtz officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Laura was born in Fort Kent, Maine on March 8, 1962, a daughter of the late Adrien and Joan (Labbe) Pinette. She graduated from Fort Kent High School in 1980 and was self-employed as a scrap metal dealer for many years. Laura loved her son and was an amazing baker, known for her whoopee pies and peanut butter cups. She also adored animals and was a chronic rescuer of all types of animals. She is survived by a son, John W. Wolfgang of Glenville; three sisters, Ruth P. Cain of Littleton, ME, Sara P. Meunier of FL, and Victoria Shilton of Collingswood, NJ; five brothers, Thomas Pinette of St. Agatha, ME, Brian Pinette of Soldier Pond, ME, Peter Pinette of Glenville, PA, Mark Pinette of Auburn, WA, and Morris Pinette of Monticello, ME; and other family members, Gary L. Wolfgang of Glenville and Richard Stauffer of Hanover. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jacob’s (Stone) United Church of Christ, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA 17329 or to the York County SPCA 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
