Lacy Price, Jr.

On Friday, May 21, 2021, Lacy Lee Preston Price, Jr., 62, of New Freedom passed away suddenly while driving in Luzerne County. He was the devoted husband to Phyllis Marie (Klunk) Price. Lacy was born on November 12, 1958 in Baltimore, MD to Patsy Ann (Cox) and Lacy Lee Preston Price, Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of Harford High School. Lacy was a well pump technician and had worked for G. Edgar Harr Well Drillers for many years before starting his own business, Lacy Price's Well Pump Service, which he operated until his passing. In his spare time, Lacy enjoyed bowling, playing pool, boating, and crabbing. His passion was fishing, though. He would make yearly trips to Pulaski, NY, to his special spot, famously known as "Lacy's Hole", to fish for salmon and steel heads. Lacy is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his parents, Patsy and Lacy, Sr.; his children, Nikki Crone-Walker and husband Jesse, and Michelle Price and her fiancee, Ernie McCraven; his grandchildren, Brian Penn, Kaiden Mullins, Madilyn Walker, Brynn Walker, and Ellie McCraven; and two sisters, Kathy Meck, and her husband, Tony, and Teresa Price and her significant other, Mark Sultzbaugh. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and friends who adored him. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
