L. Frances Burns

Lenore Frances (Cook) Burns, 93, formerly of West York, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday September 1, 2021, at Normandie Ridge Nursing Center, York. She was the wife of the late Robert O. Burns, Sr. Frances was born on October 28, 1927, in York and was a daughter of the late Charles S. and Maud F. (Geiselman) Cook. Mrs. Burns attended West York High School and graduated from Zion Bible College in Providence, Rhode Island. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in York, and had worked at Dentsply International in York for many years. She leaves behind a stepson, Robert O. Burns, Jr. of Harrisburg;3 grandchildren, Lisa L. Eberly-Terrill, Donald R. Eberly, II, and Deborah E. Burns-Barry; 4 great-grandchildren, Tabitha M. Wolfrays-King, Nichole E. Barry. Joseph R. Barry, and Elizabeth R. Barry; two great-great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Lucille K. Burns-Eberly; 4 brothers Joseph W. Cook, Arthur C. Cook, Robert J. Cook, and Charles J. Cook; and two sisters-in-law Donnye Cook and Muriel C. Miller. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 7, from 11:00 AM until a funeral service begins at 1:00 PM at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
