Kay Norman

Kay Norman Glen Rock Kay (Hamblin) Norman, 87, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday April 1, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Cary James Norman. Kay was born on May 28, 1934, in Perry County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Green L. and Edna (Jones) Hamblin. Mrs. Norman received her bachelor's degree from the University of Cumberland College and her master's degree in education from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She taught first grade at Milford School District in Ohio for over 30 years. Kay was a woman with a strong faith in God and great love for her family. Kay is survived by her daughters Teri Sechrist of Glen Rock, and Cari Klingelhoffer and husband Rick of Cincinnati, OH; three brothers, Warren Hamblin of Cincinnati, OH, and Baxler Hamblin of Seymour, IN, and Gayle Hamblin of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Kay was proceeded in death by her husband Cary, her parents, two brothers, Bradley Hamblin and Bruce Hamblin and her son, Charles Norman. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, May 5, 2022 at New Testament Baptist Church, 13382 State Route 101, Sunman, IN 47041 with her nephew Rev. Doug Hamblin officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
