Kathryn E. Barefoot

Kathryn E. (Yeager) Barefoot, 102, of Shrewsbury, died Wednesday April 24, 2019 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late George W. Barefoot. All services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is assisting with arrangements. Mrs. Barefoot was born in Columbia, Lancaster County PA on August 24, 1916, a daughter of the late William and Jessie (Coleman) Yeager. She was employed as a secretary with Unisys, Corp in Media PA for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and lived at the Court Yards in Shrewsbury for over 20 years. Kathryn leaves a son, L. Eric Barefoot and his wife Mary, six grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Ron Lake. She was predeceased by a daughter, Esther J. “Sandy” Lake.
