Kathleen M. Davidson

Kathleen M. (Byrne) Davidson, 69, of Shrewsbury, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at John Hopkin’s Hospital, Baltimore, MD. She was the wife of the late William A. Groth, Jr. Following cremation, a service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA, is assisting the family with these arrangements. Mrs. Davidson was born on April 20, 1949, in Newark, New Jersey, and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Heggarty) Byrne. Kathleen had a master’s degree in education and retired after 25 years as an elementary school teacher in Baltimore County, MD. She and her late husband, William, were sheep farmers in the Potosi area, where she was very active in spinning and knitting. She leaves a son, Tim Groth, and his wife, Elisabeth, of New Freedom; a daughter, Molly Groth, of Railroad; and four brothers, Daniel Byrne of Myrtle Beach, SC; Tim Byrne of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; Joe Byrne of Sparta, NJ; and Jim Byrne of Saint Paul, MN.
