On February 23, 2023, June E. Leader, 79, passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was the wife of the late William L. Leader with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage in June. June was born on June 6, 1943, in York, to the late Russell and Elizabeth Godfrey. She enjoyed going to Lattimore Camp Ground to relax and ride around with her husband in his golf cart.
June is survived by seven children, Rick Leader and wife Robin, Lora Bobbit, Judy Decker and husband Keith, Donna Shaffer, Tim Leader, Todd Leader and significant other Deb Ossa, and Jeff Leader and wife Lynz; she is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to Grane Hospice, 1010 Plymouth Road, Suite D, York, PA 17402
