Judd Clayton Lackey

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, Judd Clayton Lackey, 49, passed away peacefully at his home in Glen Rock. He heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master's happiness." -Matthew 25:21

Judd was born September 5, 1972 in York. He graduated in 1990 from Susquehannock High School. Judd worked as a foreman for several concrete contractors and most recently for Lorne G. Seifert, LLC / Kinsley Construction. Judd was known as a hard worker, and was dedicated and well respected in his trade that he loved. And in return, he felt deep respect for his profession and his co-workers in "the concrete world". Judd was best known for his sense of humor, love of family and friends, and being a colorful storyteller. Judd loved his life and he will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his fiance Jessi Rose Grim and their two children, Josephine Rose Lackey (7 yrs.), and Jacob Evans Lackey (6 yrs.) of Glen Rock, also by daughter Maggie Lynn Lackey (15 yrs.) of Dallastown; his parents, John and Trish Lackey of Glen Rock, Debra Counts and Corey Weire of Seven Valleys; brother Josh Lackey of Red Lion, and niece Zoe Lackey of Harrisburg.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Judd's wishes were to have his family taken care of.
