Juanita M. “Wanda” Harman Glen Rock Juanita M. “Wanda” (Phillips) Harman, 75, of Glen Rock, died Sunday June 4, 2017 at John Hopkins Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of William G. “Will” Harman, Sr., with whom she celebrated a 58th Wedding Anniversary this past August 29th. A public viewing will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. All other services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Harman was born in Baltimore on December 21, 1941 and was a daughter of the late Margaret (Scott) Pettingill. She and her husband had been Dance Instructors for over 30 years, giving private lessons at homes, studio’s and with Adult Education Classes at three local School Districts. She had helped to form the York White Rose Chapter #3008 of the USA Dance Club and was a member of Syncopation Dance Club. She also had been a volunteer at Friendship Elementary School in Glen Rock. Besides her husband she leaves four children, William G. Harman Jr. of Glen Rock, Sharon M. Hallett of Baltimore, Mark W. Harman of Shrewsbury and Gwen D. Harman of Palm Beach Garden, Fla; and by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Condolences may be shared at geiple.com
