Joyce A. Bosley

On Thursday, March 21, 2024, Joyce A. (Krout) Bosley, 94, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late R. Glenn Bosley. Joyce was born on November 30, 1929 in Glen Rock to the late Dunnick M. and Gertrude M. (McCann) Krout. She graduated from Susquehannock High School, then worked as a machine operator for AMP, Inc. until she retired in 1994. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Rock. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, listening to music, and being in her house on the hill in Glen Rock.

Joyce is survived by her siblings, Larry Krout and wife Ann, Lucille Goodling and husband Glenn, and Darlene Whipperman; two granddaughters, Sara Foura and husband Rodney, and Selene Baumgardner and husband Lonnie. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Walter "Bud" Bosley; daughter-in-law Vickie Bosley; and one brother, Dale Krout.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 28, from 10:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Glen Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to SCYCSC, 150 E. Main St., New Freedom, PA 17349.
