Johnny C. Sterner, 62, of East Prospect, died of natural causes on Tuesday December 24, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Johnny was born on December 3, 1957 in York and was a son of Annie J. (Landis) Selby of Dover and the late Donald R. Sterner. He had been employed as a mover and driver with Allied Van Lines moving company in York and prior to that with United Van Lines in Mt. Joy, PA. He loved the outdoors, as an avid Archery Hunter, Deer Hunter and Trout Fisherman. He cherished his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He also leaves, a daughter, Regina L. Nassar and her husband Joseph of York; two grandchildren, Tre and Jasmine Nassar; two brothers, Leo B. Sterner and his wife Debi of Glen Rock and Bradley L. Sterner and his wife Holly of Manchester. He was predeceased by a brother, Spurgeon J. Sterner. Memorial contributions may be made to The PA Tourette Syndrome Alliance, P.O.
