John N. Spring

On Saturday, September 3, 2022, John N. Spring, 77, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was the devoted husband to Frances (Galbraith) Spring for 59 years. John was born on August 17, 1945 in Akron, OH, to the late Everett and Annalee (Thorn) Spring.

He graduated high school from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore. John was a member of the Glen Rock American Legion, Spring Grove VFW and the Hanover Moose Lodge. He was very talented and could fix about anything. John was also good at baking, and had made cakes for people on numerous occasions.

Surviving him are his wife, Fran; children, Glenn Spring and wife Brenda, and Brenda Zimmerman and husband Steve; three grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren (and one on-the-way!); and 1 brother. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
