John C. F. Winn, Jr. Glen Rock John C. F. Winn, Jr., 85, of Glen Rock, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the York Hospital. He was the loving husband to Margaret L. (Sigels) Winn, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday May 2, 2016 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with Rev. Tim Allen, officiating. Viewings will be held Sunday Evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Trinity U.C.C Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. Flag presentation will be held by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Winn was born on October 8, 1930 in Pottsville and was a son of the late John C. Winn, Sr. and Anna M. (Lindenmuth) Winn. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and had earned the Bronze Star Medal. He was a machinist at Caterpillar, York, he retired in 1992 after 18 years of employment. He attended Glenview Alliance Church, Glen Rock and he enjoyed cooking. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be greatly missed by many. Besides his wife is survived by a son, Steven L. Winn and his wife Bonnie of Red Lion; a daughter, Amy M. Wagner and her husband David of Glen Rock; three grandchildren, Nicholas Wagner, Abby Wagner, and John R. Winn; and two sisters, Lemos Stallard and Mardella Thomas both of Glen Rock.
