Joan M. Chilcoat, 67 of Seven Valleys, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt Joy. She was the companion of William “Nick” Blouse for over 24 years. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday and from 8:30 to 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Joan was born on March 30, 1950, in York and was a daughter of the late James M. Chilcoat and Catherine M. (Myers) Chilcoat Smith. She was a graduate of Susquehannock High School, Glen Rock. She retired from York Imperial Plastics in 2018 after over 5 years of employment and prior to that had worked as a press operator with Flinchbaugh Products Inc., Red Lion, for over 30 years. She loved bingo, going to casinos, Boyd’s Bears and spending time with her grandchildren. Joan is survived by a daughter, Terri Stiffler (Jon) of Selbyville, DE, two sons, Harold Thomas Dill, Jr, (Tracee) of Glen Rock, and Edward L. Dill (Karen) of York; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; three brothers, Charles M. Chilcoat (Susan) and Kenneth E. Chilcoat (Carla) all of Seven Valleys and Steven J. Chilcoat (Wanda) of York; Nick’s children, Bradley P. Blouse of Windsor, Michelle M. Blouse of Red Lion and Nick’s two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Larry R. Chilcoat.
