Joan E. Wisner

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, Joan E. (Hoff) Wisner, 75, of Glen Rock, passed away at UPMC Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arlen G. Wisner.
Joan was born on July 31, 1946 in Manchester, MD to the late Willard D. and Hilda A. (Leese) Hoff. She worked for Beach Filter Products, Inc. in Glen Rock for many years until retiring in 2001. Joan was a member of the Lazarus UCC in Lineboro, MD, where she sang in the church choir for many years. When her children were in school, she was always active in their school's PTO/PTA. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and spending time with the grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her children, Elaine M. Wisner, Kevin J. Wisner and wife Kristin, Keith A. Wisner and wife Jennifer and Kyle D. Wisner and wife Brandy; 6 grandchildren; two siblings, Jean Fidler and Burnell Hoff. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Donald and Dale Hoff.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 2, from 7:00pm until a funeral service begins at 8:30pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment is private. Donations in Joan's memory are recommended to the Lineboro Fire Company, 4224 East Main St., Lineboro, MD 21102.
