Jessie W. Thompson Shrewsbury Jessie W. (Waltemire) Thompson, 87, of SpiriTrust Lutheran Nursing Home, Shrewsbury, died Monday October 17, 2016 at the home. She was the wife of the late George R. Thompson. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is assisting the family. Mrs. Thompson was born on March 10, 1929 in Stewartstown and was a daughter of the late Howard J. and Mary O. “Dellie” (Flory) Waltemire. She retired as a custodian at BMY in 1994 after several years of employment and had worked at the former Charles G. Summers Canning Co. in New Freedom. She is survived by a three daughters, Patricia L. Wolfe of Shrewsbury, Bonnie L. Grimm of York and Kay L. Dise and husband Jack of Stewartstown; a son Terry E. Waltemire Sr, and his wife Kelly of New Freedom; five grandchildren, Maria Miller and husband Jason, Terry Waltemire Jr. and wife Sandra, Rachel Waltemire, Stacey Bollinger and husband Mike and Angie Grimm; five great grandchildren, Colin, Evan, Mariah, Michaela, and Alissa.
