Jerry J. Dotson Sr. GLEN ROCK Jerry J. Dotson Sr., 80, of Glen Rock, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Dolores M. (Booth) Dotson, with whom he celebrated a 62nd wedding anniversary this past June. Viewings will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2020, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main St., Glen Rock 17327 with a brief time of remembrance at 8:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 requirements, a limited number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time and masks are required. Other services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Mr. Dotson was born on April 16, 1940 in Bristol Virginia, and was a son of the late Lincoln O. and Sophie (Maxfield) Dotson. He was employed for over 37 years with London Fog Industries in Baltimore and several other locations, retiring as a supervisor in 1995. He had a great sense of humor and was dearly loved by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his wife he also leaves three daughters, Patricia L. Lamb of Stewartstown, Sandra L. Dotson of York, and Mary E. Dotson of New Freedom; a son, Jerry J. Dotson, Jr. of Glen Rock; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother, Jack Dotson of Glen Rock.
