Jean L. Strausbaugh

On March 27, 2022, Jean L. Strausbaugh, 89, formerly of Codorus Township, passed away at SpiriTrust Lutheran, Hanover. She was the wife of the late Walter A. Strausbaugh, Jr.
Born March 21, 1933 in Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Rhelda L. (Flemmens) Garman.
She graduated from Codorus Township High School in 1950 and went on to work at P.H. Glatfelter Paper Company, Cremer Greenhouses, and for UTZ Potato Chips, Hanover, in the packing department for 17 years prior to her retirement in 1995. Jean was a member of St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ, Glenville.
Jean is survived by her daughter Gail B. (Garman) Coulson and husband John; two sons, Walter A. Strausbaugh, III and wife Cindy, and William G. Strausbaugh and wife Sandra; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters Doris M. Smeak and husband Cletus, and Wanda L. Lupp and husband Robert; and a brother William C. Garman, Jr. and wife Betty.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. until funeral services begin at 11 a.m. at St. Jacob's (Stone) UCC, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA 17329, with Rev. Julian Hall officiating the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
