James H. Fager II Shrewsbury James H. Fager, 74, of Shrewsbury and Hanover, died Friday December 30, 2016. He was the husband of Lucille (Ehrman) Fager with whom he celebrated a 53rd Wedding Anniversary on September 21, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday January 5, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with Rev. Philip Nace officiating. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Trinity U.C.C Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. Mr. Fager was born on March 18, 1942 in York and was a son of the late James H. and Verna R. (Sechrist) Fager. He was a 1960 graduate of Red Lion High School. Jim co-owed with his wife the Coach Light Restaurant in Shrewsbury for over 48 years and was a U-Haul Rental Dealer for over 45 years. He also owned and operated Fager’s Competition Tuning in Shrewsbury. He also worked at Fager’s Atlantic in Red Lion and Heidlersburg Pa. He also ran and worked on Drag Cars at the former US 30 Dragway for many years. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Glen Rock and with trains as his passion, he was active with the Northern Central Rail Car Association and enjoyed working with the Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Fire Company’s Annual Model Train Display. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Michelle E. Waugh and her husband Carey of Glen Rock; two sons, Michael H. Fager and his wife Elizabeth and Mark W. Fager and his wife Marian all of York; four grandchildren, Victoria, Ashley, Katelyn and Kassidy; a great grandchild, Caden; and a brother, David M. Fager and his wife Sandra of Seven Valleys. He was predeceased by a grandson Brent A. Fager.
