James B. Wilson Glen Rock James B. “Jr.” Wilson, 63, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Louann S. (Godfrey) Wilson. The couple celebrated a 33rd wedding anniversary on February 29th. Jim was born on February 16, 1954, a son of the late James H. and Gem D. (McCann) Wilson. He graduated in 1972 from Susquehannock High School and retired from Green’s Dairy in West York, where he was a truck driver for over 35 years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Loganville and was active in 4-H for most of his life, having been a 4-H leader. He raised and showed guinea pigs, and was a vegetable farmer, selling and buying produce. He also at one time collected garden tractors and other items. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Alicia N. Baptisti (Matthew) of Lancaster, Amanda S. Wilson of Glen Rock; three sisters, Linda A. Lawyer of York, Donna J. Gentzler of Manchester and Lucinda A. Donough of Port Royal, PA; many nieces and nephews, a brother in law Gary D. Godfrey and his four-legged friend, Loki. He was predeceased by a brother, Terry J. Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 16. 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church, 80 S. Main Street, Loganville, with Rev. Douglas L. DeStephano officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Potosi Cemetery, Glen Rock. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the church. Jim requested that there be a tractor parade to the cemetery. Larger tractors can meet at the church for the 4-mile route to the cemetery or join in along the way. Garden and smaller tractors can gather at Mt. Zion Potosi U.M Church 10730 Mt Zion Rd, Glen Rock and follow to cemetery.
