Jacqueline M. Mundis Jacqueline M. (Butcher) Mundis, 88, who was formerly of Dover, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Rest Haven-York. She was the wife of the late Gordon O. Mundis. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with her pastor the Rev. Fred Walthour, officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Mundis was born on August 18, 1928 in Manchester Pa and was a daughter of the late Mason E. Sr. and Charlotte (Neff) Butcher. She retired in 1990 from the Pfaltzgraff Company in York. Prior to that she had worked at the former Guy Hobb’s Furniture Company in Glen Rock and in Red Lion and T.R. Taylor Furniture Company in York. Jackie was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Glen Rock and resided in Dover prior to going to Rest Haven – York in September 2016. She leaves two sons, Alan R. “Butch” Mundis (Carolyn) of Glen Rock, Harwood E. “Woody” Mundis (Lisa) of New Windsor, MD; four grandchildren, Bridget Conway, Nathaniel Mundis, Nicole Shuman and Noah Mundis; Seven Great Grandchildren, Brooks Conway, Kailee, Kiersten Mackenzie and Natalie Mundis, Marisa and Maya Schuman; two sisters, Nancy A. Trish of New Oxford and Cheryl Fetter of York. She was predeceased by a son, Gregory P. Mundis, two sisters, Kathryn Kiser, Charlene Brenner and by three brothers, Mason E. Butcher Jr., Dawson Butcher and Stanley “Sam” Butcher. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
