Helma A. Frantz Camp Hill Helma A. (Steiger) Frantz, 79, of Camp Hill, who was formerly of Etters, died Wednesday August 26, 2015 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was the wife of the late Leo L. Frantz. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday August 31, 2015 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA with Pastor Tom Beck officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. There will be no viewing. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry. Mrs. Frantz was born on September 21, 1935 in Heidelberg, Germany, a daughter of the late Adam G. and Anna (Krambs) Steiger. She came to the United States from Germany in 1961 and was proud to become a naturalized citizen in 1965. She was employed as an Optician with York Optical Inc. in York for 27 years, retiring in 2004. Helma was a member of the York and the Morlatton Post Card Clubs. She is survived by her children, Deborah K. Newman and her partner Sharon Spears and MSgt Tammy L. Newman, retired, both of Camp Hill, Carolyn R. McKay and husband David of Atlanta GA, Sandra A. Neal and her companion Bill Feller of Wrightsville, PA, Thomas L. Frantz and wife Linda and Richard E. Frantz and wife Diane both of Seven Valleys, PA, William L. Frantz and wife Julie of FL, Leo L. Frantz, Jr. of Mission TX, Charles P. Frantz and Joseph V. Frantz and companion Sherry Keister both of York, PA; 19 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Daniel Newman and a sister Inge M. Bucher. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Four Diamonds Fund, PO Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
