Helen V. Allegro

Helen V. (Sliverman) Allegro, 92, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away on September 5, 2019 at the Zimmerman Place, Shrewsbury, PA. She was the wife of the late Michael S. Allegro. Mrs. Allegro was born on September 22, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland, and was the daughter of the late David and Ida (Durtz) Silverman. She worked as office manager at Shillcraft Inc, Baltimore, MD for 21 years. Helen volunteered for the Baltimore Lutheran Services, enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Allegro is survived by her son, Marc Allegro and his wife Kathy of Shrewsbury; a daughter Patricia A. Blackburn of North Carolina; a daughter-in-law Patricia Allegro of Hoschton, Georgia; four grandchildren, Sarah N. Lee and her husband David of Shrewsbury, Meghan Blackburn of North Carolina, Michael S. Allegro II of Wood Dale Illinois, and Seth Blackburn of North Carolina; and five great grandchildren, Kaymin Blackburn, Colton Lee, Madison Lee, Lauren Lee, and Jaxson Lee. Helen was preceded in death by a son Joseph S. Allegro. Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. will be assisting the family with these arrangements.
