Harold Lloyd Kessler

Harold Lloyd Kessler, 86, of Glenville, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024. He was born in Hanover, PA. on February 4, 1938 to the late Raymond W. and Pauline (Masonheimer) Kessler. Harold was a carpenter by trade, having worked for Hanover Concrete, Ed Nace Restoration, and J&W Builders before being self employed until his retirement. He loved making wood crafts and also hunting and shooting with his boys. Harold was a member of Jefferson Rifle Club, Jefferson Fire Co. and St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Glen Rock. He is survived by his four sons, Randy and wife Jeannette, Ron and wife Mary, Jim and wife Denise, and Steve and wife Vicki; ten grandchildren, Ryan and wife Ashley, Brandon and wife Samantha, Darin, Josh and wife Amber, Abbi and husband Tyler Null, Krista and husband Josh Hafer, Dani, Zach, Brooke and husband Jake Eyster, and Brent and wife MyKayla. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, two siblings, and two grandchildren, Kristy Kessler and Brian Kessler.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 10 AM until a funeral service begins at 11 AM at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 3444 Sticks Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment to follow in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville. Rev. Paula Murray will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD. 21741.
