Harold B. Kiser

Harold “Pop” Kiser, 86, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2017, after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Kathryn H. (Butcher) Kiser. Harold was a retired Veteran and served in the United States Army and the U.S. Air Force. Pop enjoyed taking long rides in the country with his son, Kelly. He also enjoyed watching old movies from his era. His Favorite meal in the world was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn. Pop was also an avid watcher of baseball and loved the New York Yankees. He leaves to cherish his memories, his son Kelly Mummert and son Daniel and wife Angie Mummert. Pop will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday July 15, 2017 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, York, with Flag Folding and Taps by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A funeral procession will form at 9:45 AM at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance of the cemetery. Everyone is welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County S.P.C.A., 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
