Gregory L. Martin

Gregory L. Martin, 65, of York, died Tuesday November 28, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Crystal K. Martin, with whom he was married 27 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, December 4, 2017 at Hayshire United Church of Christ, 100 Haybrook Drive, York, with his pastor the Rev. Brenda K. Marin, officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 AM Monday at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York. Gregory was born in Columbia on June 11, 1952 and was a son of Marian L. (Keller) Hunter of York and the late Stanley E. Martin. He was a 1970 graduate of Eastern York High School and he had worked as a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at ACCO in York where he was employed for 39 years, he was currently retired. He was a member of Hayshire UCC Church and had served on the Advisory Board and as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the former ACCO Federal Credit Union; he also was a past treasurer for the Victory Athletic Association of York. He also was an avid golfer, bowler and sports fan. Greg’s greatest joy was the blessing of his grandchildren. Besides his wife and mother, Gregory also leaves a daughter, Alicia R. Miller and son-in-law Derek of York; a granddaughter, Elise Miller, a grandson, Ashton Miller; a sister, Angelia Baughman of York, a brother, Sydney Martin (Christine) of York; a step brother, James Arvin of York; and nieces, Olivia Mallery, Sarah Baughman; and a nephew, Joshua Martin.
