Grace V. (Winand) Myers, 80, of Seven Valleys, died, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at The Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys. She was the wife of Clayton N. Myers, with whom she was married to for 55 years on December 15, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Westminster Road, Hanover. Gathering at the main entrance of the cemetery by 12:45 PM. Officiating at the service will be her pastor Rev. Paul Gaussman. At her request, there will be no viewing. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Myers was born in Abbottstown, on January 28, 1938 and was a daughter of the late John H. and Amanda M. (Grimm) Winand. She had worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Brunswick at Longstown and prior to that at York Lutheran Home Kelly Drive and the Brethren Home at Cross Keys. She also assisted her husband in the operations of Clayton Myers Contractors. Grace was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trinity Road, York, the Society of Farm Women Group #28, the Menges Mills Historic Horse, Steam And Gas Association and was very active with the Florida Flywheelers Antique Engine Club. She also enjoyed knitting, making and giving to people many scarfs and lap blankets. Besides her husband she leaves four children, Dwight J. Wilt and Lowell J. Wilt, both of Seven Valleys, Virginia K. Houseman of Stewartstown and Phyllis K. Sigrist of Finksburg, MD.; 10 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She requested no flowers.
