Grace E. Schuchart

Glen Rock – Grace E. (Ferree) Schuchart, 95, died Wednesday November 7, 2018 at SpiriTrust Lutheran The Village at Shrewsbury. She was the wife of Kenneth R. Schuchart. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Schuchart was born on October 29, 1923 in Springfield Township and was a daughter of the late Eli H. and Edna (Stine) Ferree. Grace retired in 1985 from AMP, Inc. where she was employed as a machine operator at the Shrewsbury Plant for many years. Prior to that she was employed as a hairdresser at the former Evelyn Logan’s Beauty Shop in Glen Rock and had done Ladies Hair for the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. for many years. She had been a member at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Valleys, where she was the organist for many years and was a former member of the Glen Rock Women’s Club. Besides her husband, Grace leaves a daughter, Elizabeth A. “Betsy” (Terry) of Bellefonte, PA; two sons, Kenneth R. Schuchart II (Bonnie) of Wrightsville and Jon L. Schuchart (Cathy) of York; four grandchildren, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Jessica and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren Beckham and Rowen. She was predeceased by four brothers, Wilson L. Merle E., Kenneth P. and Lester A. Ferree.
