Gisele C. Tittiger

Gisele C. (Huart) Tittiger, 90, of York, died Saturday May 23, 2015 at Broadmore Assisted Living, York. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Tittiger. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, with Rev. Anthony Dill, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, is assisting with the arrangements. Mrs. Tittiger was born on April 14, 1925 in Revin, France, a daughter of the late Marcel and Paulette (Baume) Huart. She retired from the Southern York County School District, where she was employed in Maintenance at Friendship Elementary School for over 10 years and prior to that had worked as a Bridal Consultant with Hutzler’s Department Store in Baltimore for many years. She was formerly of Glen Rock and participated in The Samaritans Sewing Group at Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Rock. She leaves two daughters, Ghislaine T. Sheehan and husband Thomas of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, and Michelle P. Mosser of Owings Mills, MD; five grandsons and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary-Claire Bolth and a sister Claire Huart.
