Gary L. Wolf

On Monday, June 7, 2021, Gary L. Wolf, 73, of North Codorus Township, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Beverly (Smith) Wolf for 55 years. Gary was born on July 7, 1947, in York, to the late Ervin and Doris (Sweitzer) Wolf. He attended Spring Grove High School before building roof trusses for Fin Wagaman Construction for over 20 years. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, hunting and fishing, but his true passion was going to their cabin in Potter County where you could find him feeding all sorts of animals, especially the black bears. Affectionately known as PeePa, he also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. Gary is survived by his wife, Beverly; three children, Dwayne Wolf and his wife Heidi, Troy Wolf and his wife Karen, and Chris Newcomer and her husband Robert; six grandchildren, Emily Wolf, Seth Wolf and his wife Dakota, Hunter Wolf, Walker Wolf, Kara Newcomer and Erin Newcomer; and two siblings, Darryl "Bud" Wolf, and Gayle Lambert. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Joye Trone. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 10, from 11am until a funeral service begins at 12pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
