Fuhrman C. "Bud" Howard

On Monday, August 2, 2022, Fuhrman C. "Bud" Howard, 98, of Glen Rock passed away peacefully at SpiriTrust Lutheran the Village at Shrewsbury. He was the husband of Grace L. (McWilliams) Howard, with whom he shared 74 years of marriage. He was born on December 19, 1923 in Springfield Township to the late Walter A. and Maggie S. (Sweitzer) Howard.

Bud was a self-employed farmer for over 65 years in the Springfield Township area and also drove school bus for 34 1/2 years for the Dallastown Area School District, retiring in 1988.

He was an active member of St. Peter's Church in Seven Valleys, where he was also a past Deacon and Elder; and the last surviving founding member of Camp Alaska Hunting Camp in Clinton County, PA. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling.

Bud is survived by his wife, Grace; son, Duane Howard and wife Dottie; two grandchildren, Jill Boyd and husband Matt, and Andrew Howard and wife Katie; five great-grandchildren, Shayne, Emma and Connor Boyd, and Jackson and Avery Howard.

Public viewings will be held on Sunday, August 7 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, then again on Monday, August 8, from 10:00AM until a funeral service begins at 11:00AM at St. Peter's Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Tom Beck will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to St. Peter's Church at the address above, or the Arthritis Foundation, P.O.
