Francis G. “Dice” Heindel Lineboro, MD Francis G. “Uncle Dice” Heindel, 87, of Lineboro, MD, died Thursday June 11, 2015 at the Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys, New Oxford. Following cremation, graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday June 15, 2015 at Bethlehem “Steltz” Church Cemetery, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock with Military Rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Francis was born in Lineboro on February 17, 1928, a son of the late Emanuel A. and Cora (Frank) Heindel. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 8 years, and with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years where he was an Airplane Mechanic, retiring after 28 years of service. He then worked as a mechanic for 19 years with Cypro in Hampstead MD. He was a member of the Hanover Moose Lodge #227 in Hanover and spent many hours greeting and talking with people at the CS Convenience in Glenville in his later years. “Dice” is survived by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his five brothers, Raymond, Clarence, Melvin, Wilmer and Kenneth Heindel. Memorial Contributions may be made to a Veterans Organization of your choice.
