Evelyn A Glatfelter

Evelyn A. Glatfelter Seven Valleys Evelyn A. (Wilson) Glatfelter, 91, of SpiriTrust Lutheran Home, Shrewsbury, who was formerly of Seven Valleys, died Friday March 2, 2018 at the home. She was the wife of the late Millard L. “Mike” Glatfelter. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Pastor Tom Beck of St. Peter’s Church, Seven Valleys, officiating. Burial will be in Friedensaal Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Glatfelter was born on July 3, 1926 in Shrewsbury Township and was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Mae (Grove) Wilson. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Coleman Enterprise Furniture Company in Glen Rock. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Sunday School in Glen Rock and loved working with her husband on their farm in Springfield Township and enjoyed gardening at their home. Evelyn leaves a daughter, Lois A. Goodling and her husband Ron of Seven Valleys; two grandchildren, Trent Goodling and his wife Melissa and Travis Goodling; two great grandchildren, Ashton and Sophie; two sisters, Betty Rudy and Phyllis Mason both of York and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Troy Goodling, and by two sisters, Sarah Glatfelter and Hazel Kopp and four brothers William Wilson, James Wilson, Albert Ensig, and Vernon Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Zion Lutheran Church, 49 Hanover Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327.
