Esther M. Bricker

Esther M. (Fuhrman) Bricker, 88, of Glen Rock, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Irvin D. Bricker. A public viewing will be held from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday March 10, 2021 at the Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock with a public graveside service being held at 12 Noon Thursday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York. Those planning on attending the graveside service are to meet at the main entrance to cemetery at 11:45 AM. Officiating at the service will be Charles Hartman, Jr. and John Napp. Due to covid-19 requirements, masks and social distancing are required and 35 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time for the viewing. Mrs. Bricker was born on February 27, 1933 in Railroad, a daughter of the late George B. and Naomi M. (Keeny) Fuhrman. She was a homemaker and had assisted her husband with the operations of the family farm in the Codorus Township area for many years. Esther was a lifelong member of New Freedom Church of the Brethren. Her greatest joy in life was her family, from preparing meals to baking cookies. She always made sure there was enough to eat. She leaves, two daughters, Sheila Brodbeck and her husband Garry of Spring Grove, and Wynne Allison and her husband Bradley of Glen Rock; a son, Mark Bricker of Glen Rock; three granddaughters, Andrea Horner and husband Jeremiah, Alyssa Brodbeck and Lacey Allison. She was predeceased by a sister Mabel Fuhrman and a brother Joel Fuhrman. Memorial contributions may be made to New Freedom Church of the Brethren c/o Robert W.
