Esther A. (Thoman) Hartlaub, 92, of Glenville, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Leo C. Hartlaub. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A viewing will be held from noon to 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenmount UM Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. Mrs. Hartlaub was born on December 18, 1925 in Brodbecks and was a daughter of the late Jacob L. and Annie (Sterner) Thoman. Esther had served as a Judge of Election in Codorus township for many years. She was a member Calvary Bible Church in Hanover. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting, and reading. She leaves five daughters, Carolyn L. Gross and her husband Marley of Spring Grove, Connie A. Dubbs and her husband Jeff of Glen Rock, Janice M. Bortner and her husband Tim of Gainesville, GA. Bonnie K. Shaffer and her husband Marvin of Spring Grove, Maria D. Isennock and her husband Wayne of Felton; a son, L. Tim Hartlaub and his fiancé Kim of Manchester MD.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; Memorial contributions be made to Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, Pa.17331.
