Emory E. “Jack” Beck Jr. Seven Valleys Emory E. “Jack” Beck, Jr., 86, of Seven Valleys, died Friday, March 4, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Eva A. (Miller) Beck, with whom he celebrated a 64th wedding anniversary this past November 3rd. Mr. Beck was born in Springfield Township on January 2, 1930 and was a son of the late Emory E. Sr. and Grace O. (Snyder) Beck. He was a self-employed farmer for all of his life in Springfield Township, retiring in 2000. Jack was a member of St. Peter’s Church, Seven Valleys, the Loganville and Seven Valleys Fire Companies and was a member of Camp Alaska hunting camp in Clinton County. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Susan K. Shank and Sandra A. Yoder, both of Seven Valleys and Cynthia E. Leiphart of York; a son, Pastor Thomas E. Beck and his wife Heidi of Seven Valleys; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 9. 2016 at St. Peter’s Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, with Pastor Kerry Gingerich officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the church. There will be no viewing and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Church, (mark for Mission Work) 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, Pa 17360.
