Ellen L. Christian

Ellen L. (Rohrbaugh) Christian, 60, of York, died Wednesday September 25, 2019 at York Hospital. Following cremation, a celebration of her life memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday September 30, 2019 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 AM Monday at the Funeral Home. There will be no viewing. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Ellen was born in York and raised in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Harold F. and Ruth A. (Miller) Rohrbaugh. She graduated from York County Vo-Tech and was employed in the Housekeeping Department at Misericordia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, York for several years and prior to that was a Carding Person at Dentsply in York for over 22 years. She leaves two children, Michael J. Christian and Amy L. Althoff both of York; four grandchildren, Kelton Christian, Maia Christian, Leo Althoff and Abby Althoff; two brothers, Kevin A. Rohrbaugh of Canon City, CO and Clark A. Rohrbaugh of Salida, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Patient Help Fund, Wellspan York Health Foundation, 50 N. Duke Street, 2nd Floor, York, PA 17401.
