Edward Joseph Kearns

On Sunday, November 3, 2024, Edward J. "Ted" Kearns, 52, of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly at home. He was born on August 8, 1972 in Trenton, NJ, to the late Beverly Ann (Bronson) and Michael J. Kearns, Sr. Ted graduated from Hamilton High School West in Hamilton, NJ. He then graduated from Trenton State College (now called The College of New Jersey) with a Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree. Ted worked in Human Resources with several different companies, ending his career as a Senior Compensation Manager.

In his spare time, he enjoyed doing landscaping and landscape design; tracking genealogy, tracing his family roots back to the pilgrims; he was a great artist and enjoyed drawing and painting; and he enjoyed working in his yard. He also enjoyed traveling to different states and countries and would collect flags of all of them that he would visit. Ted loved the beach and made a trip to the coast a part of every summer vacation.

Ted was the type of person that made everyone feel comfortable. He was a natural leader in group atmospheres and was the "life of the party".

Ted is survived by his brother, Michael J. Kearns, Jr. and wife Tammy; and his sister, Cynthia Sutton. He is also survived by his niece, Sarah Faone; nephew, Joe Sutton; and his faithful dog, Aiden.
