Edward G. Bupp

Edward G. Bupp, 76, of York, died August 9, 2018 at his home. He was the husband of Eleanor R. (Keeney) Bupp, with whom he celebrated a 56th wedding anniversary on January 13, 2018. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 am Saturday August 18, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church, 80 S. Main Street, Loganville, with his pastor the Rev. Douglas DeStephano, officiating. Following the service there will be a time of sharing and a luncheon at the church. Burial will be private. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street Glen Rock is assisting with the arrangements. Mr. Bupp was born Jan. 11, 1942 in York and was a son of the late Frank and Catherine (Einsig) Bupp. He retired in 1997 from Strine Printing Company, York and prior to that he had worked at White Rose Engraving Co. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and a former member of both the Prince and Viking Athletic Associations. He loved baseball and football, watching his favorite teams the Baltimore Orioles, Jacobus Jackals and the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed going to the beach and fishing with his buddies, Jeff Smith and Rand Karstan. Besides his wife he leaves, sisters-in-law, Lori Miller (Carl) and Sue Keeney; brothers-in-law, Joseph P. Miller and Leon Keeney (Doris); and 12 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers and a brother-in-law Gerald Keeney.
