Edna M. Taylor

Edna M. Taylor, 98, of Shrewsbury, died on December 6, 2020 in her home. She was the wife of the late Elvin G. Taylor, with whom she shared 61 years. Public viewing will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 10, at New Hope Fissels UCC, 3426 Fissels Church Rd., Glen Rock. On Friday at the church beginning at 11am until 12pm there will be time for public viewing before a private funeral service begins at 12pm. Following the service, a PUBLIC graveside service will take place approximately 1:30pm at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks must be worn at all times and social distancing is required. There is a 35-person limit inside the church, so please keep visits brief to allow others that may be waiting to offer their sympathies. Edna was born May 23, 1922 in Hopewell Township. She was the daughter of the late Alfred D. and Bessie M. (Mann) Wolf. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who worked on the family farm with her husband. She enjoyed taking care of, and watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a long-time member of New Hope Fissels United Church of Christ. Mrs. Taylor is survived by two sons, Glenn E. Taylor of York and Larry E. Taylor of Shrewsbury; a daughter, Louise E. Myers of Shrewsbury; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George E.
