Edith A. Amspacher Glen Rock Edith A. (Krebs) Amspacher, 91, of Glen Rock, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Raymond T. Amspacher. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday January 30, 2015 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York, PA 17402, with Rev. Paula Murray, officiating. Funeral procession will form at the main entrance to the cemetery at 12:45pm. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Amspacher was born on January 8, 1924 in Manheim Township, a daughter of the late Charles and Luella (Walker) Krebs. Edith was a seamstress having been employed by Savada Brothers Sewing Company, Glen Rock for 17 years and several other sewing factories in the area. She was a member of St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, Glen Rock and enjoyed sewing, quilting, walking, and loved to tend to her farm. She leaves her daughter Janet Davenport and her husband William of Millsboro, DE; three grandchildren, Joseph Kopp of Fleetwood, PA, Karen Lord and her husband Ray of Reading, and David Kopp and his wife Wendy of Dover, DE; three great-grandchildren, Colton Lord, Dalton Lord, and Elijah Kopp; and a sister Annabel Amspacher of York. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Elwood Krebs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church; 3444 Sticks Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327.
