Dorothy N. Lentz

On Thursday, June 1, 2023, Dorothy N. (Kreeger) Lentz, 93, of York, passed away peacefully at Amoroso Wellness in York. She was the devoted wife of the late Marvin E. Lentz. Dorothy was born on November 19, 1929 in North Codorus Township to the late William E. and Sadie Mae (Herman) Kreeger. She became a seamstress and worked for Doe Spun in York for 32 years before retiring in 1991. Dorothy was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Rock.

Surviving Dorothy are two sisters, Elaine V. Lefever and Delores M. Ness; 31 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings, William Kreeger, Louise Thoman, Arlene Strickler, Janet Baker, Leon Kreeger, Claire Kreeger, Florence Darr, Dean Kreeger, and Shirley Kinard.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 9 from 10:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Glen Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations are recommended to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 49 Hanover St., Glen Rock, PA 17327.
