Dorothy M. Reimold

On September 9, 2023, Dorothy M. (Schrum) Reimold, 77, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Gerald E. Reimold, to whom she was married on April 7, 1962. She was born on December 30, 1945, in Jacobus, to the late Ammon W. and Ruth L. (Geiselman) Schrum.

Dorothy was a member of Salem Christian Church in Jacobus; York County Parks; and the York County History Center.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; two sons, Randy and wife, Stacy, and Keith and wife Kim; five grandchildren, Rachel, Alex, Kelly, Nathaniel, and Hannah; two great-grandchildren, Nevan and Phoebe; and one sister, Mary Ann Richards. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Phyllis J. Hunter; and one brother, whom she and Gerald raised, Richard W. Schrum.

A graveside funeral service at Salem Union Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Her son, Randy Reimold will officiate that service.
