Dorothy L. Ruby

Dorothy L. “Dot” (Yocum) Ruby, 86, of Glen Rock died Friday June 29, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of Robert P. Ruby, with whom she celebrated at 65th Wedding Anniversary on April 1. Funeral services and burial will be private. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is assisting with the arrangements. Mrs. Ruby was born in Alexandria, Huntington Co, PA and was a daughter of the late Wallace C. and Myrtle E. (Graffius) Yocum. Dot was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock. the Bon Air Country Club, where she was a two-time Club Champion and had three holes in one and she also was an avid bowler. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Greta L. Dise (Bob) and Judy A. Carroll (Charles), a son, Robert A. Ruby; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, two sisters, Sandra Shilling and Bonita Shope and a brother, Ronald V. Yocum.
